Kianna Little, MPH, CHES
Childbirth Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Childbirth Educator.
Kianna received a B.A. in Applied Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2009.
In May 2017, she received a Master of Public Health with a concentration in community
prevention and education in underserved communities from La Salle University.
Kianna is a Healthy Start Program Manager at Maternity Care Coalition. In this role, she
supervises and provides support to her team delivering home visitation services to pregnant
women and families with a wide range of health and social services to reduce infant mortality
and poor birth outcomes. Through her continuous work in public health, she has identified a
great need in Philadelphia for a more supportive structure for parent-child to promote optimal
Kianna is a certified Childbirth Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Childbirth Educator.
She is the Founder of Earthside Village, LLC which has a mission to provide direct care to Black
and Brown mothers and children to reduce maternal mortality and assist families in having the
birth they desire.
Outside of the office, she is committed to raising her two daughters, engaging in self-care
through reading, exercising, cultivating her passion for writing children’s books, and becoming
proficient in biostatics and data visualization, and educating the community through financial
literacy as a personal financial coach.
Nia Coaxum-Morgan, MPH, CHES
Birth & Postpartum Doula
Nia Coaxum-Morgan is a public health professional with a passion for maternal health and health equity. She received her Masters of Public Health degree from West Chester University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Nia is a trained birth and postpartum doula working towards certification with Birth Arts International. Her goal as a doula is to decrease Black maternal health disparities and increase positive birth outcomes by providing informed, personalized, and compassionate care to birthers and their families.
